Note from artist Mary Kunz Goldman: I sketched this snow scene from life on a January day. It shows three houses in Buffalo, N.Y., digging out after one of our famed snowstorms. These cute 1920s houses are on Hertel Avenue and I drew this glorious scene in ink from the Kmart parking lot across the street. That pile of snow in the picture in front of the bus shelter was plowed from the Kmart lot.

This is a limited edition of this card that I am hand-painting with snowy watercolor accents. I do each card by hand so each one is completely unique! Sometimes I add some violet and so the sky looks like twilight. Other cards look more like morning. They are like snowflakes, each unique in the world.

Which means, when you are sending this card to someone, you are actually sending a gift! It's a work of art, and your friend can display it as such. As a folded card, it even creates its own easel!

These whimsical Christmas cards are note-card size, 4.25 inches by 5.5 inches when they are folded. They are made from bright white matte cover stock. The 10 cards are packed with 10 classic white envelopes. On the back of each card I've included my notes about the scene on the front. The cards are blank inside for your personal message.
